Bassline help

was just wondering if anyone knows how to achieve that ed up bassline sound from bodyrox - yeah yeah (d.ramirez), i assume its a square wave? but i just can't seem to get that twisted noise, when i programme it just sounds like ya standard square wave, also any recommendations for VSTs to use? i've been using albino n vanguard to no avail :(

really, the best vst for this kind of thing is z3ta+. it's probably the best softsynth for electro in existence ;) |

ah well, i just looked into sidechaining, so its taught me a little bit, bassline and kick sounds alot more natural. :)
I'll try z3ta, I've got it on my computer somewhere I'm sure.
I just can't get that ed up sound, I dunno if its the pitch changing and the timing. |

| never thought of that, altho i did once forget where my extreme lead was! turned up at my mates who nicked it, bah never used it much anyway, lol |

Sylenth1 would be the perfect synth for that:
