I've been trying to learn this a while ago. This is an awesome course, but its also pretty difficult stuff... only for those who already have experience with music theory and with composing classical music. If youre planning to write orchestra pieces with professional ambition, this is the best help you can get ;)

someone should sticky this

LOL that was kinda funny. Well this deserves a place in the tutorials.

but if you were to take a cynical look at this, Garritan is pimping it's product through publishing the most relevant classic work of a dead composer (no copy right infringements) ...making the doofus go WOW!

i was kicking myself recently for failing to pick up a copy when i had the chance, so yippee!!! will do as a preview

RichieV
speaking of dead composers , the actual orchestration guide presented is from Rimsky Korsakov from along time ago.
