On February 24, 2006, my best friend for 11 years passed away in a car accident. His name was Will Foreman. Will was a huge lover for EDM and apart of TA for quite a few years. Alot of you know my other song I remixed for him, BT - Force of Gravity (http://tranceaddict.com/forums/show...6&forumid=74&s=) and I really appreciate the amazing feedback you have given me regarding that piece. (By the way, FoG was remastered, check it out! :)
Satellite has been a remix I have been working on for quite some time. The rap vocals were performed and written by Nathan Wolfberg and lead vocals performed by Robin Hillart. I compsosed, engineered, and mixed the project.
Please download and share the music with anyone and everyone! His voice is all around the world and I want to make it reach the stars.
I got my hands on that Satellite remix about a month ago, truely touching stuff - so sad yet so beautiful.
Well done :)

heard it two days ago on your myspace account and wondered how to get this beauty... and today I find this thread here :)
Although hiphop isn't my favourite genre this one is as emotional as your BT remix. I guess your friend would appreciate this great dedication to him!

Hip-hop is my second favorite genre (lets not assumue mainstream though :) ) But I've always loved the sound of electronica and rap together..
I really appreciate the feedback - keep downloading :gsmile:

I have an interesting story to tell... this past week my girlfriend and I were in Miami for WMC. We went to the Anjuanbeats party with Above and Beyond.
After communicating with Tony of A&B through several emails last summer about my mix, I felt really determined to try and meet him. After his set @ Nocturnal I was able to introduce myself. He pulled me in for a big, long hug. He was speaking in my ear about how touched he was by the remix, the production value, and how it was a fitting tribute.
We spoke for a good five minutes and it was very, very special for me to finally meet the original writer of Satellite.
Just thought I share this... it was really moving for me.

Heard the FoG remix a while back. Just took a listen to your remix of Satellite. Great stuff man! I like the vocals on it. Same words, but different feel to them.

Very nice mate, sounds like you worked hard on this. Sorry for your loss also :( :(

to me this song is not about the effort or work put into it...it's the fact that I felt the touch of angles in this remix. I just came back from a short walk in the rain to buy some cigars and got home and loaded my eJay program and went to tranceaddict to hear some real songs, not just arranged loops and stumbled across this remix and was flooded by goose bumps, so I put it on repeat and took a couple xanax and watch smoke leave my mouth in amazement

I've been in love with the Vadim Zhukov remix for a long time... but this has such a different feel. I think the spoken word adds a lot to the mood and the new female vocals are amazing as well.
