Tomorrow night, at "nothing better to do in the O-town" Club Heaven.
Max Graham (and Victor Calderone) really did it for me at Resolution, gonna go to this. I expect to see his biggest fanboys Snarcher, ANF and Tag there :p

| how much would it cost the club to go to Future Shop and buy speakers? :p I believe Martin Villeneuve is part owner.. he should know by now that the sound does not equate to the crazy bookings this club has been getting. |

Is that system that or does it just need fine tuning ? I have no clue. |

| I'm pretty sure they can't calibrate it any more.. a speaker is needed below the stairs, and upstairs for starters. Too bad, it's a great little club.. the screen is cool and the vip is solid. Bartender at the back bar has nice 'cones :p |

ugh... yeah.. sux they lost last night... I missed the hit Neil had on whatshisface. Saturday's game should be good... one of the last hockey games i will get to see before moving.. though apparently they do show some NHL games in Holland, and a group of Canadian expats get together for the playoffs anyway.

After polluting Mizza's AVB thread that he was polluting himself, I finally got myself down to Heaven to check out Max Graham who was spinning from 1-4AM I think. The place wasn't as packed as other nights I've been to but it was busy.
Max played his productions.. Crank, House Nation, Space Disco, etc.. I liked his set at Resolution much better (it was dirtier) but he still kept this sound-challenged club hoppin in any case. I don't know how these dj guys do it.. I'm wiped and Max is headed to MTL to spin in 90 mins or so.
So on my way out, I'm eyein' this tall, attractive girl who keeps eyein me back and I think to myself, "Is that Kate Manus? Is she that tall?" So then I ask her, "you write a column about techno?"
She's like, "I've never heard that one before."
In any case, I think I will use that as my pickup line from now on.. it was pretty effective :p ;)

(I had to rate the women, the ratio was very good for an edm night).
