| No, you're not. You agreed to pay the rent for a period of time. When he paid you back, and you accepted the payment, you lost your stake in any benefits that might come from paying said rent. Now, had he not paid you back, certainly, you'd have something coming your way. Would it be nice of him to give some of it to you, since he wouldn't have been able to receive that $1000 otherwise? Yes. However, that would be going out of his way to be courteous, so it's not something you should expect, in the least, since you two didn't split up on the best of terms. |

yeah money is so trivial to fight over. it's just really frusturating that in a way, i'm paying for yet another one of his mistakes.
and yes we broke up on really bad terms...he couldn't keep his dick in his pants and for some godforsaken reason, he didn't think that was a good enough reason for me leaving him. :conf: but that's another story. we broke up in aug, and we've been trying to rebuild a friendship...things have been a little rocky, but up until now, it's been going ok.
he still thinks he has a chance that i'll take him back. hah. this is just yet another reminder of why i've left him.
butterfly: not sure where you live, or if this rebate's offered in all states...but it's worth looking into. a lot of people don't know about it. |

| In all fairness, you're probably entitled to some of the money, but not likely to see any of it. To tell you the truth, sounds like he's not going anywhere fast, so you're probably better off just walking away from the whole thing and writing it down as a life-lesson anyway. |
