Hey... it's not so bad... my grandmother couldn't do that. Therefore I'm moderately impressed. However, it's rather conventional virtually no new territory being covered.
I've only made two or three psytrance tunes, and I think I speak for the veterans when I say that one of the true joys in producing it is designing your own sounds. It's a hard craft, but you gotta be the sonic wizard and cast your own spellbook of synth patches at the dark beats to recieve your inner pwnage.
But if they do buy sample CDs... it's not usually the kind of sample libraries that specifically target psy. |

Great learning tools. If I want to get into psy mentality, I'll entertain myself for hours in Ableton with whatever that's available, then use the midi, the synths, percussion as guidelines for my own synthesis. They also work as loops...
Anyways, that's my take on it. |

I totally agree with B_man. The best thing with psy is that all sounds contains so much love and feelings from the producers, well spoken B_man :)
Sample cds are nothing for psy producers imo. |
