We all have our opinions. My wife and I agree that those two nights not were not Markus's best, but I wouldn't say he sucked majorily. But these are our opionions. It was kind of a sad closing Armada party in Ibiza. We both expected much better.
Sometimes I think people repeat what they hear/read with out really having been there - not that I'm saying this is the case now.
Nobody should be calling anybody any names which I guess happens a lot around here.
So I hope Tiesto rocks it in Miami and there aren't that many posers. Just becasue you pay the high price to see Tiesto doesn't automatically make you a poser, but from what I've seen of mansion lately ...
Armada night at mansion WMC 2004 on a Monday - Markus nailed it and Armin had that short fun 45 minute set. MIKE followed. Nice decor and lasers that night - good times. |

you kids shouldnt be arguing about whether to go to Armin or Tiesto, when there are much better parties going on saturday nite. GO to F.M.I.F or yooshi and trust me u wont be disappointed. armin has never played a decent set in miami, and tiesto's performance at last years WMC was overrated in my opinion, although he did close strong. i could see going for tiesto if it was extended set but since this is a live? set ur probably looking at 3-4hrs as speculated.
i dont know why tiesto feels like every gig he does now has to be some over hyped up production complete with dancing penguins and trapeze artist. what happened to spinning a good old fashioned set? i guess the glorification of his massive ego takes precedent now. see you kids at tiesto at space in 3 years after the bandwagon falls off and he comes back down from the clouds and realizes he will never be a rolling stone or even an american idol.
so get over yourself tijs, sign some autographs at your shows and quit walking around with an entourage thinking you may be mobbed because your so huge. outside of the EDM world no one knows who u are and no one cares. i could walk up to 999 out of 1000 americans and say "do you know tiesto" and they would look at me like i was an alien. your not that famous. sorry folks i have an occasional bitter rant on the state of tiesto and why cant he be a dj again.:wtf: so yeah, forget tiesto and go to see FMIF or yooshi, you wont be disappointed, there is too much real talent.:D ;) |

I understand where you're coming from, but I'm going to house, break, & d&b events all week. I want a proper night of trance from Armin or Tiesto! |

You act so high and mighty, yet who is the one actually namecalling here. Nobody called you anything, so get over it. I just completely disagreed with your statement and opinion, and made a joke of it. Sorry I didn't realize you were so fragile.
And FYI: I care less about whether you think Markus sucked at 500000000 parties. But feel free to go ahead and list all the parties you think he sucked at. I do not work for him, do not know him, and do not rely on him for income or anything else (other than playing good music) for that matter. He is far from my favorite DJ, but I still disagree with what you originally posted about his set and Dekay's set last year. IMO you got it backwards 100%. Oh well. |

when tiesto decides to stop playing ISOS music and sitck to trance he plays amazing. only like when he plays upbeat trance and his tracks. He is touring in a bit for the new cd so i dont know how much of it he will play in miami - hope ALL of it haha.
Least spears over britn murphey haha.
I coudnt stand markus when i last saw him. Such a boring set, so proggressive and argh... Rank 1 was the best trance ive seen this year, followed by armin. PVD, Tiesto, and Ferry all sucked this year with sets. Thrillseekers was bad ass also. |

It makes me so sad about Tiesto though,i've seen him 3 times and never at Space.I went to the pre-party before his epic set at Space it was awesome,I then opted to go see Edgar V,and George Acosta because i felt that i'd already seen T and because i was underaged at the time and didnt want to risk getting busted.It was a great party but all i hear about all the time is how great his set was,well from that very momment on it has been downhill for me trying to see Tiesto.The next WMC o4 i think was the last time he spun at Space and Dr.and i were held up coming down.So to make a long story short we could'nt get in,the line wrapped around 11th like a soup line during the depretion.We ended up going to Sander,which was amazing in it's own right.Ever since then he hassen't spun at Space and i haven't herd a set from him i've liked as much as 2-3 years ago.I do have faith in his talent so hopefully he will come back to Space or throw down nasty somewhere else.

I made up my mind and I'm heading going to see Armin. I know Armada will be a solid party and there are too many ifs about Tiesto.
Why can't Tijs put together another Magik Music Night??!

He played Space again WMC 2005, and again it was packed as hell and a good set. Last WMC was his first conference set @ Mansion. |
