I'll second this one...fack, we waited well over an hour just to wait for cabs to come back downtown from SoBe from the "first rush"...this year, I'm leaving Ultra "early", regardless. |
hell yea toby, the cab's didn't stop for you, they must not have liked your spikey hair! lol. but at least we had comfy couches to sit in while we waited. what do you have planned for after ultra? |

It took almost 2 hours for me to get a cab after I left Carl Cox @ Crobar last year.
I had to walk all the way down to 5th to finally get one. |

| ummm, not to be nasty, but that question has an obvious answer, traffic, parking, and gettin around is a nightmare during wmc, especially Thurs, Fri, and Sat., most people will walk as much as possible |

You're going to walk from downtown to sobe?
Good luck with that, there isn't even a pedestrian walk on the bridge. |

I was hoping to get some answers beyond the obvious 'increased in traffic volume during the week' - esp from those that rented a car previously. Was it worth it to have your own car to get around between events? or maybe parking is so pricey and/or hard to find one that u wished u had taken the taxi instead. |

I know you can't walk from downtown to SOBE. That was the whole point of my post. People are talking about taking taxis back to SOBE after Ultra, and your advice was to walk everywhere. In case you didn't know, Ultra is downtown and most people are going to need some kind of motorized transportation back to their hotel, therefore your advice is nonsensical.
Do you know how to read english or what? Because you clearly can't write a coherent sentence... Are you just really out of it or something? Go get some sleep and lay off the crack! :p |

| lol no crack for me,as for you my friend Zoloft may be an option, can I read english, probably betther than you. Yes Ultra is downtown, but my advice to all is simply walk when POSSIBLE, (that line is for you ass)dont rent a car because you will fight for parking even in lots |

| How easy is it to walk to Twilo from Bicentennial after ultra day 2? I'm hoping it's not a problem, when i mapped it out on google maps it said it was 4 miles but it looked like it looped around the bridge tacking on unnecessary miles... |

The mileage on google maps is for driving directions, so often times it will be a lot farther than walking since you can't just cut a straight line through the city if driving. |
