well im in the 3rd year/4 of my biochemistry major, and yeah, i as well am pretty unhappy about school. i think its more due to the way science is taught; remember all this , and write it down on a test.

unlike arbiter though, im not adverse at all in going back to school, so im kinda looking into a grad school/mba program sorta thing.

hopefully im rich enough to buy TA and ban all u fools :p

I'm graduating from college this spring and have absolutely no idea what I'm going to be doing next year. It's about the same as the whole finding a college thing, but for whatever reason this time the anxiety is all the worse. Get a career, find an easy job, go to grad school.

Is anyone else's life on hold right now? I know there are probably others graduating from college this year, or high school. What are you doing next year? What jobs or colleges are you hoping to hear from? Share your aspirations/successes/frustrations here.

oh i really do hear you about this! i'm graduating this spring from college. i am definitely going back to school for an m.b.a, but i just don't knowhow to go about it. i think i'll take a year off. as for location, i have no clue if i'm going back to cambridge or staying in amherst...(i don't want to stay in amherst but m bf is here)

i want to get a masters in advertising/marketing or PR, so i guess until i have the dream job, i'm going to get a job and keep studying japanese.

Haha, I almost labeled it the purgatory thread, but figured we might not have too many catholics here.

As for me, this weekend has actually helped a lot. I had an interview in DC yesterday, and after spending three days there, I can see myself in that city. As for the grad school programs I've applied to there... well... we'll see if I get in. The odds are stacked against me, but it's worth the shot. It was nice getting away from campus for awhile and experiencing something of the real world though... in some ways I'm afraid of leaving the safety of college life, but in others I can't wait. Washington is such a fascinating city, and that's where a lot of the issues I'm interested in get thrown about, so here's hoping!

think about getting a job that'll pay for your MBA. That way at the end of it you'll have an MBA and work experience.

So I got denied from my first grad school today. Still waiting to hear from two more. Anybody else make headway on life/college plans for next year?

Welp, looks like I got into grad school and will probably be in DC next year. :)

Anybody else sort their lives out in the last two weeks?
