god damnit
my friend and i rented a game earlier this week and it was due back friday morning so we returned it then...and then i went out and bought it. yeah...we got addicted. so anyways, i was looking around and i could get $5-10 (i forget) off if i bought it used at EBGames, rather than new at there or best buy or w/e. unfortunately for me, finding said used copy and buying it took most of the time i had before work, so i just dropped it off at home and went to work, that was at like 3:30
so ing finally at 3:15am i get out of work (nice 13+ hour shift there), after standing around for 45 minutes while my manager figured out why my tips at the end of the night came to $3 when they should've been $103, i finally head home. i get home by like 3:30am, i'm ing exhausted, and have nothing to do tomorrow so i hook up the xbox and pop in the game
i go to the kitchen and get a snack and come back and its still at the dashboard, nothing's loaded...which was weird. i look and it says the disc's unreadable. so i pop it out, clean off the few scuffs that i assumed would be there with ease, and put it back in. same ing deal
so i take a closer look. right at the center of the disc there's a mothering crack going like an inch towards the outside of the disc
and its obvious the crack goes all the way through once i look at it. its disrupted the data big time and there's no ing way its playable. so after working 13.5 hours and coming home to play the game i just spent 50 ing bucks on, its completely useless, i have tons of energy with nothing to do, and i gotta wait till tomorrow to go bitch about it and get another copy (from somewhere else if possible)
srsly...not ing shopping there again. what kind of store sells a cracked game?
cor version: bought a game, didn't ahve time to play it, worked 13.5 hours only to come home and the disc's cracked and i can't do about it right now |

just realized i never mentioned what game i was talking about
and yes, we have sneak king, its worth the money, its ing hilarious
but yeah, bought the used copy of elder scrolls IV: oblivion. its sweet, we got a thief dude going. we just steal everything we can find, haven't done any of the you're supposed to for the game. our class? sneak king.:D |
