| someone explain why would you play this game instead of like... putting all that time and effort into chasing skirt... or something, i dunno, sell crack and become a lvl 11 Crack Dealer. Just do something a bit more realistic. |

I've got an embarrassing amount of them :( But I've kicked the habit (lol), sold off my last account, deleted the game from my computer, removed all related websites from my favourites list, etc.

It usually starts out as a 'hey I've got an hour or so to kill, why not check out that game everyone's going on about,' thing. You slowly find yourself playing a little more day by day, then thinking 'well I'm not 'really' in the mood to go out tonight,' then 'would it be that big a deal if I called in sick this one time,' then 'man it's 5am and I have work in a few hours but with just another hour we might be able to kill this boss,' and so forth.
Two years later you have more level 60's in epic gear than you're willing to admit, come to a realisation that you've blown the better part of your free time for the last two years of your life on a bunch of pixels in a virtual world and quit :D |

Yeah. I made $650 off my original account, and it wasn't even that amazing in the scheme of things, I've seen them go for $2k+. In total I've made close to $1000 off selling my various accounts, though when you subtract what I've spent on the game (in terms of accounts and fee's), only 2/3 or so of that is profit.
They used to be sellable on ebay, but ebay shut that down for some reason, so these days you need to go through dodgy websites. |

| For complicated reasons, I installed WOW and setup a 10 day trial account. Therefore, my character was a zombie shaman thing. Got to level 4! boo-yah |
