Its not concert seating. It is more like a concert venue than a typical night club, but they do set it up pretty nice for dance events. There is a balcony that is only seating, but the main level of the club is open area.

State venue is the best venue in Detroit hands down. We were there the last time PVD played and it was sheer awesomeness. Only problem is Michigan law shuts it down at 3.
Venue is top notch though, not stadium style seating. |
