Concert antics

It annoys me when musicians / DJs "interact" with crowds by doing silly "call and response" type things, talking to the crowd, or saying things about the particular place in which they're performing. They ought to just perform the music. These silly antics are one reason I've never really wanted to go to a rock concert.

That is all. :o

I hate it when entertainers bite the heads off bats. Sooooooooo played.

Artist: When I say Miami you say Beach

Artist: Miami

Crowd: Beach

Artist: Miami

Crowd: Beach

What's funny is when they say the wrong city name.

yeah i prefer my dj's quiet and in a booth high up and out of sight. The farther they are the bigger grin i have, and once they're out of sight, the party starts :gsmile:

The most memorable scene I've ever seen on mtv was some guy interacting with the crowd that way... and praising a coffee machine:

Guy: I say coffee you say machine! Coffee!!!

Crowd: Machine!

Guy: Coffee!

Crowd: ing Machine!

I still find myself looking at a coffee machine thinking that I'd like to yell "Coffee ing Machine" in an important event :p

well I prefer so called annoying artists to people in the crowd trying to cheer the musicians and being complete idiots.

one bad memory I have was when I saw Armin live this guy in the middle of the set kept yelling WO WO or some retarded thing. I tapped his shoulder he turns around and I yelled as I possibly could " SHUT THE F*CK UP!"
He was kind of in shock or something he started lookin at his friend weirdly like they wanted to fight me or something but nothing came of it. :(

I would have loved to throat punch the dude

i would love to throat punch people that light ciggarettes in cars with kids in the back seat. sorry, that was a bit random.

a true musician knows totally how to interact with a crowd, and doesn't need a godlike pose, or whatnot. That's why I'm more & more into bands, at least they play their own music

Could have been worse...he might have had a whistle which in case you would have had to put it down his throat and make him choke on it:haha:
