Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted anything... let alone a full track. Hope everyone's been doing okay :) I don't really recognize a lot of the names I see on TA these days, so to those I don't know, my name is Nishant, I go by "Ethereal" and collab alias "Orana Project" so far got a few small releases (got a remix coming out on Conspiracy soon for Emotional Horizons)
I've been trying to do some different things lately... been experimenting with downtempo and abstract hip hop as well as some darker melodies. Here's a prog/electro track I finished off a couple months ago, but is probably a bit too "experimental" to sign, I think. Breakdown has some techy amens breaks and a little glitched-out lead. So, here you guys go. I would love feedback :)

Dude... this is above par. The bassline is bandpassish that dips in to the lows with analog goodness that really makes me drool bigtime.
The way yo modulate that bass is pure ear candy.
The progressive edge of this track is definately bold and is kicking my posterior to the antartic. It's got a really cool grasp of the high end elements, and the crashes splash over me like a tsunami. Now this is what prog is all about.
Good glitches and fine tunes. The ahmen break is also saggat worthy. What I like about it is the fact that it's got it's own coolness factor without taking thunder away from the original beat -- simply because it's different enough.
This was definately above par. I haven't really heard much trance like this at all.

Wow, B_Man is so right about the bass. Very juicy analog sound.

The breakdown is great! Not cheesy at all. Fantastic atmosphere...
Breakbeat part, OMG! What youve done here deserves just my deepest respect, its simply awesome.
4:20... this is just too cool.
A track filled with energy and original ideas. I dont have anything to complain about. Everything you have in this track makes sense and contributes to the whole piece of art. |

I think you showed me a clip of this track before, and it was excellent...I love that bassline and the acids that come in. The beeps and square sounds work well...the breakdown is very good too, It has a sort of Asian feel to me.
Great track overall, I guess labels don't want to sign anything that is a little different.

Thanks guys for the comments, didn't expect many to like this actually, but I'm glad you guys dig it. Cybernetica, long time no see :) Lokhen I wish Anjuna would sign tracks of this style, this is definitely something that they wouldn't take.

Good track, i think it sounds pretty much experimental. It's always good to hear different kind of elements mixed together in a track with a varied arrangement...
