Well if you just looking for electronic soundtracks then check all Wiepeout's , and as someone mentioned Stark Raving Mad is great too

There was a similar thread a few months ago. If you do a search and find it you will discover that lots and lots of good stuff were mentioned.(epsecially electronica stuff, since the thread was about electronica soundtracks)


here are just two relatively recent MUST HAVE soundtracks that come to mind:



Mark Isham: Crash OST

Clint Mansell: Solaris OST. (everysthing by Clint Mansell is good)


Both are fantastic atmospheric dark ambient soundtracks. Listen with headphones on. Also many of the soundtracks mentioned before such as K-Pax, Bladerunner, Requiem for a Dream, Lost in Translation (this was very "shoe-gaze" like, very dreamy with bands like My Bloody Valentine and Death in Vegas etc.) All the soundtracks by Vangelis are excellent...
