hey guys, i searched for "midi interfaces" and got a few results and none really helped me out because i have a very specific question and little knowlege of midi interfaces. i have albeton live 6 and the djm800. i want to get a midi interface that will let me run ableton through 2 channels on my mixer and also a midi keyboard.

so, my mixer has 4 channels. i want to use 2 channels for my cdj's and 2 channels for ableton. i would also like to incorporate a midi keyboard.

what do i need to buy to make that setup happen?

thanks

an audio interface not just a midi interface although if you have both it helps. i recommend the focusrite saffire. although if your just trying to run 2 channels you can use an m-audio audiophile usb. mad cheap and has what you need (you can run 1 channel through the digital coax output and another through the rca output).

whatever you can afford. if you want to go all out id even go for a motu ultralite. personally saffire (original) or saffire LE is the way to be since the pro is a little overkill i think for just dj'ing especially when you just want to output 2 stereo channels from ableton.
