I wore earplugs everywhere last wmc. I was the only person at the end of the week who didn't shout "WHAT!?!?!" constantly when speaking with someone else.
Do yourself a favor and use earplugs. I don't know how people can be so stupid not to. Going to clubs will kill your hearing. period. Then again, lots of people still smoke cigarettes. |

indeed. Alpha concepts dynachord just can't be ed with. its amazingly crisp and clean for a system that is as loud as it is. |

1,000,000 watts is what i heard...is this true? all i remember is that its one of the best, if not the best system i have heard in a club.... |

No. its definitely not a million watts. i know they have 4 hanging x-1s on the terrace at 2300 watts RMS each. this doesnt include subs or other speakers that i dont notice. they have at least 10 x-1s in the mainroom and a bunch of subs. i'm guessing its somewhere in the neighborhood of 50,000 - 75,000 watts total for the club.
I remember the flyers for (i think) ultra '05 were advertising A MILLION WATTS OF SOUND, and that was for the entire festival and all of the stages. a gigawatt is some serious power, way too much for a club. |

very true, you get good sound pretty much no matter where you are in the mainroom. but on the terrace you have to be inside "the box" to get the full effect. but that is ok because if you need to escape the loudness for a few you can just go walk over to the bar or something, but i dont know why you would want to.
just wear your earplugs, your ears will thank you later. |

2.Twilo is the second best around,then 3.Nocturnal,4.Cameo,5.PawnShop,6.The Bricks,7.Amika, 8.Area 51,and 9.Ultra lounge is supposed to be decent but i haven't yet gone. |
