I hate away messages that give you the whole night planned out.
"gotta work, then i dunnoo, maybe grab some food with some people, then go booze with some girls, who knows when i'll be home, so just call me"
i always translate that as
"work, then go out to eat with my work friends, then sit at my best friends house and hope we can get a girl to come over, and i'll most likely be home by 9:30"
but heh is definately just a conversation filler. |

I use "heh" when I couldn't care less what the person is saying to me.
Away messages:
It's either an away message or offline. If I am offline I have people blowing up my phone asking me where I am, now that I temporarily don't have my cell they can't, but they used to. I don't write a whole, " omg im in room 364 with Jessie and Ashley and then we're going to the bar and we're going to get drunk and make out" I just write, " Gone downtown, cell it if needed" |

I tend to sometimes use my away message in the same way people would use a blog on myspace or xanga.
Random thoughts, interesting links, etc. Really small and straight to the point though. |

no one cares about my away messages so I can write the I want. although mine always say
"I've been away since 22:40."
