Lake Tahoe ANYONE?

I know my melissa/butterfly will hit this thread up and tell me all about the glorious snow tahoe has been getting...but my real question is...
where do a group of new yorkers go out and party it up in lake tahoe? is there any edm going on there where we can go just to have a drink and chat up a few locals, maybe a pleasant surprise from a dj dropping some solid music? any recommendations for some bars or lounges?
before you answer...
yes i know it won't be anything like new york...
so please...please help me because i can ride that powder all day but i need me a place to go and get my music on... |

Check out Montbleu. This is a fairly new resort. It's where the old Caesar's Tahoe was.
And it has a couple of venues in there. Blu Nightclub and Opal Ultra Lounge. They do have some EDM on certain nights.

sweet but i get in on the 2nd at 4pm so im not so sure i'd make it to a 7-8pm event with all the running around i need to do.
mont bleu is already on the hit list same for opal, i just hope its not as corny as 'The Block' on G4TV makes it look. Either way I'm looking to get nice out there and ride myself some powder.
Appreciate all the input fellas, more for me to find out as I'll be gracing a 9 day'er out there and I can't come to think that'll be hiding in the room when im not on the mountain. |
