Interesting.
I live less than 5 minutes from Aura. Right down Stoneridge Drive (Auro is on the corner of Stoneridge and Hopyard).
Not my crowd, though...so will have to think about it lol. |

| Come on Dave you freakin' live 5 minutes away, we're coming from SF. I'm sure Taj will give you guestlist along w/ all the other TAs that are showing up. Besides it's not about the crowd it's about the music! Don't forget to bring your big camera :-) |

A crowd can kill any attempt for the night to be about the music.

aura is a beautiful club but i hate going there cause it's all the same faces from high school :toothless
also whatever you do don't speed or drive drunk on hopyard rd. the local smokies have that street locked down all the way to the freeway after last call. |

| the 2 things i dislike most about aura are the $20 cover for a club that closes before 2 and the strict dress code. for these 2 reasons the crowd is more posh and go-out-to-be-seen, but i've been to a few good nights there before. the red room is usually hip hop and mashups and the blue room is house and breaks. i'm assuming taj will be in the blue room. i'll stop by if there's a list :) |

From Ruby Skye's webby, Aura is their Sister Club.
There is plenty of room to Dance, I could have sworn when Scooter & Lavelle came out they closed at 4:conf:
From what I remember too it is similar to Ruby, just no upper floor.
O ya, and you can smoke outside! :D
Thinkin about it last night, its cool to see SF Djs in a different element... expecially out this way. |
