Ahahahahahahaha. Sucks that you got attacked. I got attacked by birds (and other animals) before. It's not cool...
I think the worst time for me was when I was younger and a dog bit my neck and dragged me across the highway (not only was I injured, but I almost got hit by vehicles too). WHY THE HELL DO I STILL LOVE ANIMALS?!?! |
Nows dats fukked up ,Hugz lucky i have only two baby turtles so far they being good. |

| find a empty mall parking lot and learn your car.. go fast.. slam on the brakes. turn too quickly... forwards and backwards.. an hour of this and you'll learn all the breaking points in the car.. as well, do it with just yourself and with passengers, or at least some dead weight in the seats. most importantly, have some fun. |

When I was driving home last night (around 7:15p), on Mavis (heading North), there were at least 5 cars spun out on the ramp onto the 401: one was completely in the ditch and the other 4 were turned around/spun out.
Crazyness. |

If I hadn't fallen asleep last night at 10:30, I would have seen this thread earlier. I am glad you're okay.
I got in a bad car accident one winter, which resulted in my car rolling four times before landing upside down in a ditch. Luckily cuts and broken bones were the only injuries.
It is really easy to lose control in the winter. So be careful! |
thats terrrrrrible , glad ur ok too <3
yea I got in a reallly bad car accident when i was younger, i think thats why this scared me so much |

While I agree with what you're saying in general, if after an hour someone learns the breaking points of their car, I'd recommend them a career in rallying as they clearly have some god-gived talent for it.
A lot of spinouts happen because the driver does what feels natural and not what is right in the situation. It takes a while to "reprogram" your brain to automatically do the right thing in a situation, and not just slam the brakes or turn the steering wheel really hard in the opposite direction. |

lol yeah...it was just scary more than anything. Walking around up north in the middle of the woods, in the middle of the night. I think it was an owl, but since it was so dark it was hard to tell.
What a way to cap off a shroom walk through the woods.
(yes the bird was actually there, my friends saw it too) |
LOOOOOOOL thats soo trippy LOOL *points and laughs @ u* :p |

it happened on the hwy going out of horseshoe valley, right beside settlers ghost golf course.... that road has basically over 30 accidents every winter on it. it is a one lane hwy (one lane either way). I was driving along and the dually truck coming towards me was towing 2 snowmobiles on an overly large flat bed which was swaying into my lane. i turned my wheel to pull my outter wheels over on to the non paved shoulder, because my car was front wheel drive, the back wheels spun out. I had never been in a slide/skid/spin before, so i attempted to recover, turned the wheel too fast and ended up in the other lane. Automatically, i knew i had to get off the road, but instead of just driving off into the ditch, i turned my wheel to go back into my lane and ended up having the back end of my car sliced off, and very close to having myself sliced. if anyone had been in the back of my car, 100% they would not have been living today. scariest moment of my life... took me a good 5-6 months to get over it. dad put me in a skid course and a stunt driving course... only way to get over your fear, is to face it. |

Holly .... that's ed
Similar thing happened to me when the first major snow storm happened in January. I has hit from behind and slammed sideways into the divider wall that separates the exit from the highway, and hit again by another sliding vehicle. Car=totalled, me= glad to still be walking, I thank God for that. |
