Turntable for Ripping Vinyl

| What turntable(s) would you recommend for playing and ripping vinyl? I plan to get 1 turntable and start collecting vinyl (also ripping it to mp3), but later down the road I will either get 2 CDJ players or another TT, and also get a good mixer. Basically I want something that will have good quality sound output, and also be able to be used for DJing as well (must be DD and have some good torque, etc). Techinics are out of price range, so what alternatives are there? |

| hey.. the stanton str8-80 series and above has a cool S P/DIF digital output ... so you can hook it up to your computer,MDplayer,etc.. and then you need nice cartr. to go w/ em to give you the sound quality you want... |

| Cool, thanks for the info. It just so happens that my sound card has an SPDIF input on it as well! :D |
