Gaim has been doing that for years... Also true for Meebo, which is a top notch alternative to most web-based messengers.

ok all of a sudden, my windows live messenger is acting up and it just runs in the background....
yes i already tried reinstalling it after removing the old installations...still nothing...any suggestions? |

| My msn hasn't worked for a week now:( Stuck using web messenger. Nothing I do works, tryed troubleshooting with msn various times and it still gives me the same damn error code. I think it's time to reformat everything again. |

msn messenger 4.5 which came with windows seems to work with me but ewwww
is the error code u get 1603? |
