i seriously doubt spunade la will be in the next 100 next year. move on their part thats what they get for moving to avalon |

pretty funny, keeping in mind that spundaue is not a club, and neither is spundae! ;) I think that for most people, spundae=circus, the two seemed woven together so tightly that for the average clubgoer (and perhaps even DJ?) there was no difference.
That all changes this year though! :eek: |

I agree. I get all these emails from Avalon, Wired LA, other promoting peeps, and also see all these MYSPACE bulletins... yet none of them mentions Spundae. At least CIRCUS would put "CIRCUS presents SPUNDAE" or "CIRCUS welcomes back SPUNDAE" or "SPUNDAE@CIRCUS."
If I was a total noob in the scene or one that doesn't get on message boards, I'd say Avalon/Avaland is the one bringing Satoshi or any other DJ in the main room. |

actually i'm pretty sure they left circus because they were dropping rank in everyone's eyes. just look at this year's results for the proof. |

| The voting was going on right around the same time that everyone started to talk about the move. |

| i doubt the voting djs were in the loop about those rumors at the time, nor would it affect their votes if they did. you have to think that spundae isn't going to leave circus for no reason, i think the djmag results validate its motive: the touring djs were becoming less satisfied with the venue. |
