Do it Guerilla Style!

Go to your nearest GC/Sam Ash, take the necessary knobs/faders from their display model and then calmly walk away! :tongue2

lmao

what is it with the pioneer mixers and the effects knobs going flying

For something close to $1,500....to have knobs coming off..is quite pathetic. Pioneer is ripping people off!

my kitten bit off 3 knobs and 2 faders from my DJM-500. luckily i found all of them except for 1 knob which is still missing... and now my mixer gets covered with a pillowcase whenever i'm not using it.

I do the same thing with my mixer, although it's not quite a DJM 500 (a Vestax PCV 275, though the DJM 500 is still a bit old). That's a good idea period I think, if you don't want to spend $100 on a case and want to keep dust to a minimal. Dust seems to kill the sound quality of mixers...and can wreck crossfaders and volume faders.

Since when do Xone's make CD decks? And I own a Xone:62. After just a couple months use the crossfader now slides on/off quite easily (flies off into oblivion in some cases, depending on the use). The rest of it is a tank, but the X-Fader is a piece of .

He said DJM-800, not CDJ-800... so there ;)

Yeah buttons and knobs fall off any mixer. They are MEANT to be replaceable. Of course, A+H gives you extras in the box :)
