In order to confuse the guys in middle school, I came up with "My pet cow needs milking", and "Jackie is in town".
The guys started to catch on to the Jackie one, but the cow one... I am not entirely sure they got that one. I think they thought it was just an inside joke. Either way... we kept them confused.
P.S. I chose the name Jackie because at the time, I really disliked a girl named Jackie. Thought it was appropriate to associate my dislike for her with something else I really disliked. |

I didn't think I was lucky back then. I had enough trouble relating to and feeling part of the girls group as it was...then when they all started maturing without me, I REALLY felt like an outsider. I really thought something was wrong with me for a long time.
Every birthday from 11 till the time I eventually got it I would say, "This is the year! This is the year I become a woman!" Then that first time I got it, a week or two after my 14th birthday, I was SO excited! Yeah that excitement lasted about a day, lol. Stupid in period backpaincrampsbloatingnausea UGH! |
