I have a colleague who does this because he moved here from another continent. As far as I know, he's met a lot of pretty interesting people and the person he's going out with now seems like a good catch.
Of course, he's older (middle-aged) so that might be one thing to consider.
If it's friends you're looking for, then clubs and bars may not be the best option. |
