it lasted as a dull ache behind that eye for 4-5 days afterwards. leaning down or angling my head off to one side would ing throb.
my upsetness and stress level must have spurred it. |

if u got over it before ultra 12, then safe to say even if u were a *touch* still sick, u wouldn't have been contagious at that point.

You may have got your shot while you were either already sick, or were just about to.
They work when you get them when you're clean and healthy, and that's the only time it will work to get your antibodies up all winter long. |

i let my body build up its own natural strength to fight colds and flus now. feel its prolly better if ur not in danger of death or other serious complications from a cold or the flu.
i dont even use prescriptions anymore generally. just let my body get rid of it over time. after a while u dont mind the symptoms so much.
(unless its a sore throat, then im weak and cave bc i simply have no tolerance for sore throats... when younger, i was EXCEPTIONALLY prone to strep... would get it atleast twice a year every year. glad im done w/ that phase of my life) |

The last time I had a flu shot was 4-5 years ago. I very seldom get sick, and when I have it's nowhere near as bad as what I'm feeling right now....I might get a runny nose or a small cough. But it's usually all gone in 2 days. |
