I've been using audacity but I'm tired of lower quality files coming out. What is a good free alternative with no quality loss? If there is no free good audio manipulation software, what is a good paid one? Is sound forge any good?
My most important feature is no loss of quality.

i think i found what i needed. mptrim will work.
In Audacity, I leave everything on default settings, get the lame mp3 dll file and the new files I make always sound just a little worse. Maybe sound card? Maybe settings? Not really sure
unlike audacity, mptrim will directly edit the mp3 without decompressing and compressing, making no quality loss. yay |
