much much worse to be indian now, with Yuvraj run out & Dhoni with the easiest LBW decision i've seen in a long time from Murali. 112-6 at this time, and it could be bye bye India if Bangladesh beat Bermuda tomorrow

well they deserve what they get. chokers. The top order collapsed as usual. It is obvious that Indians cannot chase under pressure. Time and again we have seen this. Tendulkar never delivers in critical matches when India bats second. They all ed up. Having won the toss, they should have batted first, and put up a big total. They can still win, but that's a remote possibility now.

lol i've just been speaking to my dad who has tickets for what would in theory be India vs England, he said to me "if it's bangladesh you can put them on ebay" :stongue:

and there goes Agarkar. Eejit, I mean Ajit.

Dravid out for 60, with 17 of that hit off the previous over and he was having cramps too. Maybe he should go out to bat with cramp. In the battle of Moody & Chappell, it looks like tom moody is going to come out on top.

that's it. I'm outta here.

It's the same old story repeated over and over again. They up when things are in their hands...and now we wait for a miracle to take us to the second round.

There needs to be a complete overhaul of the BCCI which is apparently the richest board in Cricket. It's a political organization and the BCCI president is the Agriculture Minister of India. What the is he doing there ? Nobody gave a though about creating a young and talented team for the world cup. The same old players were chosen to play. Ganguly who was forced out of the team, was back again. Injury ridden Tendulkar, old warhorse Kumble, a bad bowler, Agarkar, they all need to go. The average age of the team needs to come down. Young talented players must be given a chance. We need some very fast bowlers, a very good wicketkeeper and some good responsible batsmen who can handle the pressure. In a cricket-crazy nation like India, the raw talent is out there, everywhere. The BCCI and current players simply need to stop playing politics and start focusing on developing a killer team. Otherwise, you cannot compete in this game.

I'd be nervous if I was Greg Chappel right about now.

(Bad taste I know)

Yeah, BCCI is more political organisation than cricket sometimes, you can see it with their constant postulating with the ICC rather than focussing on their own issues.

Then theres great things happening in selection like the factional fighting. For example, Greg Chappel was assaulted in an airport a few months ago by a fan because there was no player from that region in the team. If the fans are like that, imagine the administrators who have a vested interest in representing their areas.

I still hope the side gets through though (pretty damn unlikely I know).

The Sri Lankans are looking pretty ominous this year though, should be an interesting Super 8's.

The biggest losers from India's (and Pakistan's) exit are probably going to be the ICC and the Carribean Tourism Industry with all the revenue that is lost.

It sucks that they get so much revenue from a team that doesnt deserve anything other than massive pay cuts and for starters being flown back coach class with everyone seated in the middle.

Im disappointed yes but this crumbling under pressure every time warrants no sympathy. I hope theres no upset and bangladesh go on to beat bermuda because quite frankly they deserve it more than we do.

I dont know whether its monumental expectations or plain indifference toward winning given that the fat pay checks will keep coming because of the massive popularity of the sport but Indian cricket needs a major makeover with form taking precedence over experience and sentiments
