| Anybody here planning on crossing over the channel and hitting Dance Valley on 14/07 ? If so, do people have any travel groups that are doing travel/accommodation deals over there from the UK? (preferably the North). I’ve become a little fed up with the locals at Creamfields and Global Gathering, whilst good, is a bit of a mission. I’d like to try something a bit different and do a couple of foreign trance trips in the summer, this being one of them. |

DV is superb, def tempted this year. Puts UK festivals to shame.
Do it yourself though:
1. Book flights (obv to Amsterdam Shiphol (sp?), arrive friday evening, depart Sunday morning
2. Book cheap hostel
3. Book DV tickets, once they go on sale there is a UK distributor
and that's it. Alot cheaper than UK operators, who will prob use a ferry service too.
To get from Amsterdam to DV its only a short train ride and then free shuttle buses. Impeccably organised. DV is normally only 11am-11pm though. |

Presale started 14-02.
I'll be there again this year as well.. Have to catch up missing it last year due to Extrema festival being on the same day. Looking forward to it already. |

Last year wasn't all that to be honest.
I had a great time because of the company but the music and site were somewhat lacking.
Glad they've decided to concentrate on just the one day this year. |

Hmm.. I've heard mostly positive reports from last year, but I sure am glad they decided to do a one day event this year as well.
I hope they reinstate the psy area this year (it wasn't there last year was it?) |

since you're a technohead it's not all to your taste, but the antiworld 07-07-07 lineup has some very good acts in (progressive & chillout for sure, breaks/techno in places) |

I've seen that line-up.. pretty massive indeed.
Oh, and I do enjoy other bits of EDM just as well, especially when going out..
Plans for the summer probably won't allow me to spend any cash on foreign clubbing antics, I'm afraid.. I'll have to do with the usual Dutch ones (which suffice for me) another year.
Or sell my kidney. |

| try radical escapes for organised trips from newcastle and harwick, these usually involve ferry crossings though. Probably best to organise your own though, it can all be done on the net. Try Jet2 for flights there around the £30 mark. |

I have no idea actually. Shame on me really because the psy is always great at DV.
Ian, I'd love to do Antiworld but its a 3 dayer and Im so not meant to be a camper. My bday is on the 6/7 too.
Last year after DV I mostly looked like a lobster. Win! |
