check out the work of Santiago Calatrava. Probably one of my favorite architects. He designed that "screw" looking building in chicago, as well as the milwaukee art museum, which was his first work built in the US.

The Erasmus bridge in Rotterdam.
That tower in Chicago looks wicked, it don't fit into the skyline very well however the buildings aim is to stand out. |

Very nice. If you go to London it's a mixture of new and old buildings in a weird way it's quite attractive. |
