I am a sex educator right now for teens. HPV is really serious and it increases the risk cervical cancer. It is also associated with genital warts. (ewwwwww!!!!) It spreads so easily that I have seen estimations that every (young) woman will have it at least once by the time they die.
Very curable tho, which helps decrease the scare. YOu must get tested for it tho (Women who know will get a PAP and they test for precancerous cells, that is what the test is for)
*btw the estimations are SERIOUSLY high in every country, especially canada, us, and europe.* |
