there is blue with eddie g on march 31st, thats on south beach.
also, april 7th im going to be djing @ x-it for a party they are having. ill be doing the main room so it should be interesting :disbelief |

underground use to have weekly events but thats in the past now :(
i know it isnt edm but this place called respectables plays like avenue d and ladytron the type of stuff anyways its dollar beers on thursdays and what can beat that :tongue3 |

I think its a combination of all the construction they were and still are doing there. They had alot of the roads around Clematis and Clematis itself closed off for a long time. It was basically dirt roads in front of the clubs, and I guess that turned alot of people off. Then alot of the clubs kept getting raided and less and less people were going out down there cause of the BS. That led to the clubs closing up :( Hopefully it will turn around, but it doesn't look like anytime soon. |

I live there and it has to do with police more than anything. They are way crazier than in Miami or in Ft.L.
Also it has to do with the people,the people are ghetto.They like JZ and 50 cent.Also no one with the exception of a few really have any idea about EDM in general,although i could tell you were to find "raves"..But even im affraid to go to them. |

So true. Its strange back in late 90's this place was blowing up with edm freaks and trance lovers...now its a ghost town. I'm seriously considering moving outta this boring area. There have been some DJ's that do try to get a scene going, but they are so closed minded and don't wanna push anything but horrible unknown house music and funky disco . I like house music but damn I dunno where they get that horrible house from. I'm hesitant to try to get a scene started myself, as I can't seem to find anyone who likes progressive/electro house/trance around here. :nervous: |

A word of advice go to a strip club we have really good strip clubs.T's,Rachal's Diamonds or Cheeta.....Titties and are better than trance,alot better.
If you find both than let me know. |
