Pete Tong has done crazy, great sets @ Ultra the times he's been there.
Im sure there are a couple that loved he's set at Ultra the times he's been there, cause Ive seen some rave reviews about he's sets.
The thing about Pete Tong its that you are certain to hear some unreleased or unheard that track that's bound to be THE TUNEEE afterwards. Its happened before and it'll keep happening. |

So tong will play, and it isnt a free party this year... well something isnt. It lists a $30 charge on the bottom but the link just takes you to radio 1.Also, the party is only 3 hours???

the 3 hours is the time its live on BBC1...the party will be much longer. interesting its $30 - all the prior BBC1 parties were free... |

| Oh yea, read over it, it will be longer. Sucks they are charging. I hope they get a crowd then so they come again next year. I think having it be free like the past parties is why people keep bringing it up as amazing parties. |

Radio 1 will return to Miami for 2007, with its dance music specialist Pete Tong leading firmly from the front with a live broadcast straight from the heart of the Winter Music Conference.
On Friday 23March, Pete Tong will present an extended version of his Friday night show live from Miami's Surfcomber Hotel, with guest appearances from house music heavyweights like Erick Morillo and Miami's own Cedric Gervais, as well as Sharam of Deep Dish, Fedde Le Grand and Bob Sinclar, amongst a host of others. The week-long mix of industry partying and events that is the WMC can highlight the house tunes that we'll all be listening to for the rest of the year. And it's those tunes that Tongy will be trying to pick out for his listeners, live from the sun-kissed beaches of Miami.
After his live set on Friday, Tongy and a host of other DJs (including Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela and Frankie Knuckles) will perform at at the Surfcomber Hotel, with these very special guests having their sets recorded for Radio 1's Essential Mix show, so those of us not lucky enough to be in Miami can listen in to all the fun at a later date.
Pete comments, 'It will be great to be back at Miami WMC this year, it's still such an important date on the calendar for the electronic music business. By the time Ibiza starts, a lot of the records are already in play, so Miami is really the place - the training ground in fact - for the tunes that are going to be big for the summer.'

A Miami WMC special with all the latest news and hottest tracks from the Winter Music Conference.

Sun 1st April:
Radio 1's Essential Mix with live DJ sets from Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela and Richie Hawtin recorded from the Radio 1 party at the Surfcomber Hotel
2am-4am

| Wasn't too sure what I was gonna be up to on the Friday anyways, hadn't really confirmed for Day 1 of Ultra...but there's a slight chance I'll do this for the afternoon/early evening, then head to Ultra. |
