   PLZ ARMIN ONLY IN BK 2007!!! By far the greatest nite of my life (Was already looking forward to 2007 on the way out on July 8! haha). Got Armin to sign a cd cover and got one of the last signed posters of the nite as well as meet his brother. An amazing both nights -it could only get better for 2007. (If i had to make any suggestions at all it would def be no brooklyn brewery or at least an alternative beer, its def an aquired taste)

CLUBPLANET.com Interview: Emily Tan: I’ve heard great things about your last New York show, the one at The Tobacco Warehouse, beneath the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges--where U2 performed. How was that for you? Armin Van Buuren: That was my best gig this year! First of all, because of the exotic location. It was the first time I ever played a party there on this scale. I was the only DJ from 4:00PM until 11:00PM, and it was totally a journey for the people who were there. It was glorious weather – it was warm – and I started slowly building it up from the ground. It was two days, not just a single show. I can’t explain…it was just amazing. I can’t stop talking about those parties. Besides the weather and the venue, why were they your best shows all year? Van Buuren: The sound was the most amazing in the world because of Mike Bindra, and Steve Dash is a hero, internationally, for sound. The production was amazing. They hired special trucks to power the lasers because they were so powerful. The location was amazing, right under the Brooklyn Bridge. The crowd was fantastic!

In reply to cheaper, better lasers.... as far as cheaper, like with anything the newer laser systems are getting smaller and more user friendly but are typically more expensive and lack the output power thus limiting the impact, that we all love, the benefit is that they can be used in applications that typically we can't do with our large frame laser systems, which require high voltage,,, typically we have to bring in our own power generators, and are water cooled, which require 60 psi 6 gallons a minute, which usually isn't available in most places , never mind the fact the lasers require a small army to get set up in most venues. We have various lasers for any application but what really is unique is our projection system, theres only one, and any laser can be used for a light source. We are bringing in all new technology for Pacha, enjoy! We shall blow the place away :)
kid nyce
theres only one laser that we need in NYC

the laser gatecrasher used for Tiesto's debut @ limelight...
