I was there 2 years ago,I had a great time,it is not crazy like Cancun, much more mature crowd there and lots of couples, the night life was great I thought and the best part of the trip was when I went to this club/lounge on the main district called Zoo Bar,the dj started playing the most unbelievable trance set ever!!!I couldnt believe it I mean quality trance music, non stop :eyespop: :eyes:!!!
He played non stop from till like 6AM untill the sunrise,it was truly beautiful.
Anways have fun and make sure you check this place out ;) |

Hey Cro... Went to Puerto Vallarta in mid Dec '06 and the city is pretty good. The parties aren't good as the ones here in Toronto... as is the case in most city's.
Keep in mind:
- PV has two parts, a new and old city... keep this in mind when clubbing and walking around at night. I don't remember which part is which, sorry bud... but the area that has the Senhor Frogs nightclub is the homosexual area of the town. After the bridge is more for a straight crowd. Just wanted to let you know, although you would find this out right away by seeing cross-dressers everywhere in that part. Just giving you a heads up.
As for clubs:
- A really wicked looking club is Christine's. Thursday night is the best time to go, that's what everyone says and it's around march so I guess it'll be way more packed then when I went. Sunday is also a popular day to go.
- Collage has a foam party... I heard it was good but never ended up going to that club. I don't know which night the foam party is on, sorry man... you'll have to ask around.
- In the main city of PV, the clubs are smaller. My fav was The Zoo. Very very small club, probably the same size as Menage but I found it being my fav. It had the most chilled out people, fun, relaxed and talkative. I never had to pay because the hotel hooked us up. Just like Hardcore Trancer mentioned, the club had the best music out of all of them. There is also 2 other clubs on the strip, I don't remember the names but they were alright.
- I know I said Senhor Frogs was on the gay part of town but they also host a foam party gueared more towards the straight crowd. It's either on a Tuesday or Wednesday night that they have it. I didn't end up going in because of a long story but the chicks looked good :)
Things to definitely do in PV:
- YOU HAVE TO CHECK OUT THE BULL FIGHTING! Hopefully it is open when you are there. It's on Wednesday @ 5 or 6pm. If you hotel is more in the city, the bus will pass by it and you can't miss it. It'll be on the north side of the street. The bull fighting was freakin' amazing! I have vids and pictures from it if you want. Also, you can't bring in any food/drinks :(
- Sign up with your hotel to get the ATV/Canipy tour. The ATVing was the best part, I almost fell off the mountain but whatever... lol. Keep your eyes open if u take the afternoon tour and have to ATV back at night.
Hopefully this will help you or give you an idea of the city. Which hotel are you staying at? |

wow thanks for taking the time to write all that...
yeah i checked out the clubs and was thinkig of going to one of those foam parties. Collage and Senor Frogs have them on Tuesday nights, so i guess i would have to choose. I dunno which one it will be since both are getting good reviews as i am reading around. Chicks being hot is a good thing, but i am going with the GF :gsmile:
The bull fighting i will see for sure, and the ATV tour sounds great, its something i am definitely look into.
I will be staying at Villa Valarta by Canto del Sol |

That's cool dude... I met this girl that was staying at Canto del Sol which is right next to your hotel. The road in that area has some hardcore bumps. You're not that far from the from The Zoo, probably a good $5-$7 taxi ride.
Also, This is what I was told by the hotel... don't book through people trying to sell you tours. Do it through the hotel. Apparently it's safer with them. So I don't know, do what you want, but that's what I was told. Oh yeah, don't forget to bring ID... like your drivers license. They want that if you go ATVing.
Watch out for those annoying people who try to sell you their goods. Almost every shop sells the same crap, so if you find something that's expensive, go somewhere else. Also, cut the price in half of whatever they're asking. Bring that down!
You'll have fun dude... enjoy :) |
