Purim Carnival Review

Musically, it was one of the BEST at Circus. I'm amazed at how good Victor Dinaire is EVERY time he spins. Once he took over, it was uphill from there. Soooooo many good songs were dropped, and I didn't see one unhappy face...well, that is, until I saw a fight about to happen by the stage and someone fighting with the bodyguard and getting kicked out. Right after that, our mood just sunk.

We realized there were many rude, drunken people that night that just pushed thru people and smoked wherever they wanted. I got bumped into so many times tonight that I lost count. Every time it happened, they didn't even acknowledge it either, and just kept on doing it. It would've been a GREAT night if it wasn't for that.

Yahel came on and threw down some POUNDING beats that I just loved, but because of the crowd tonight, we left 10 minutes later. What a bummer, but I have to say, the music was THE best though.

Girl! You nailed the night! Everything you said ... YUP! and also one of the BESTEST nights there at CIRCUS. I was really surprised at the turnout too! It was packed in that huge main room.

I had a blast anyway! DINAIRE freakin blew me away! OMG!

I also liked Yahel set. The whole night was fun (for me)!!!

It was a fun night and victor killed it as usual...

BUT....

I did not know Israeli guys were this rude.

I got into 1 fist fight, and one shoving match with 2 different guys grabbing my friend's asses..

apparently they don't respect their women like we do out here.

BUT

I had fun!

I cant believe Vixydish was there and I didn't see her.

(She probably didn't recognize the streamlined new Bob)

Yeah, Israelis are hit or miss. You will either meet one that is the most chill person on earth or one that is a total with something to prove. There really doesn't seem to be any inbetween. If you had a bad experience at Yahel then I highly suggest you stay away from the Skazi show at Avalon. He brings out the worst Israelis in existance. They get all drunk and start moshing....totally kills the vibe. I'm not a fan of Skazi at all, he is the Tiesto of isratrance (Skazi does not play psy and neither does Yahel BTW).

Save your money and go party it up with Wizzy Noise on the 24th :D

I had an AMAZING time last night @ CIRCUS! The music was great and I was happy to see some familiar faces. The downside was, as others have mentioned, the crowds of RUDE MEN! They were all smoking inside and grabbing/pushing people. It actually kind of reminded me of the guys @ Avalon, lol. Other than that, I really enjoyed both Victor & Yahel's sets. They both brought great energy! Overall, it was a GREAT NIGHT and those of you who didn't make it totally missed out. Make sure you make it out next weekend for Mike Koglin @ Jes! :)

P.S. Here are MY PHOTOS!

These Israelis don't give a ! hahaha... They were smoking pot & cigarettes every where last night! The security chick told this one guy to turn off the cig and he ends up blowing smoke in her face! She grabs the cig from his hand, tosses it on the ground, and the guy is like lighting up another one! The place was insane but I must say it was a TOTAL FREAKIN BLAST! Awesome night regardless of whether Yahel spins psyTrance or not. His set was awesome but VICTOR DINAIRE KICKED ASS! Amazing!!!

Oh yeah, I should mention that the new stage setup was definitely better because it allows for more people to be up front and close to the DJ at once. At the old booth, if you're up front by the sides, you're basically blocking the whole walkway of people getting into the dance floor, so I think overall, the new setup is better.

There was a drummer playing to the beats of Dinaire's set, and it was amazing. Everyone crowded up to see this guy. :eyespop:

I loved the "Beautiful Things" performance by the singers and dancers as well. Go Mireille and Robin!

Bob, I think I saw you but with your new 'do, I wasn't 100% sure. :conf: If you see me next time, come say hi!
