FUKING SIIIIIIIIICK

So happy I went out, full review will have to come another day, probably tomorrow, but Holden proved to me once again why he's the best. Absolutely amazing set from start to finish :disbelief
The pictures and videos haki took are amazing and I can't wait for everyone to see them, great to see the TAs I saw; Erika and Maher, Julius, Vermz, aria_clubber, licks, Louis, Sean Walsh, Allied Nations and if im forgetting someone sorry

I won't get over this night anytime soon, he destroyed the place. Ripped it to shreds, sewed it back together and ripped it again and again...

Outstanding.

I'm sooooooooooooooo sad that I missed it. I was REALLY looking forward to see Holden, but I was in zombified after Christopher Lawrence (AMAZING party btw). And I really couldn't move. For me to miss such an event I have to be litteraly on my death bed. :(

Glad you guys had a good time though. :)

But It'll take me a while to get over the fact that i missed Holden.

I cry.. :(

First post!

I had to drop in and re-iterate what everyone else has been saying.

Absolutely top notch. Must find a recording.

P.S. Hello everyone :tongue2

James was sick, the tricks he was making with all that looping was insane, using his loop machine, then looping with the cdj, ing around with with the filters, insane. I've seen him several times live, and definately this has been one of the best performances i've seen. the people didnt stop dancing, they just couldnt. plus it was awesome chilling with him at the booth and watching everyone go crazy, and looking at the crazy mixes he was doing.

it was fun, and ready to see him again @ miami for the winter music conference.

Meh, perhaps final heartstring for masses getting on well together. And sleep deprivation.

Let's hope not!

Anyways, here's the full review. I was out in full force with literally almost all of my mtl friends who like this music. People I knew were popping up left right and centre - TAs and non-TAs alike! I can't remember what time I arrived, but Koze was rocking it- little shifty on the mixing, but the sheer creativity of his set totally made up for that.

Holden was really good.

Bender played a fun set at the end, some nice tech house, played some very VERY upfront stuff - he definitely has some fresh music as well as the nice big tunes of that style were all familiar with to keep everyone on the floor.

Then I went to a crazzy after party which was a blast with Bender, Julian Prince, and I all mixing up a storm until I left at 5:30...(Another guy was there mixing with us as well, but I can't remember his name) they still kept going!

Best party of '07 so far.

Totally off the hook, especially considering Holden isn't always my cup of tea. Nice to see all those people out (must have been at least 850 ppl!), especially my boys as always, you guys' presence makes the party all that much better :) Love you guys!!!...Alex and Anne WTF where were you?!...One thing tho, EVERYone was ED off their rockers, kinda weirded me out a bit but hey, the whole party attracted a verrrrrry diverse crowd, which always makes things, ahem, 'interesting' :)...Lots of SAT fans there, for sure...

Maher and I left around 6am due to sheer exhaustion...Hopefully the PikNik ppl will see how much of a success this was and repeat it again and again and again...Loved the venue, loved the people (I guess), liked the music loads, sound was great and clean. I can easily say this: I think this was the best party so far of '07...If the music would have been more subjectively to my liking, it would have gotten best party of '07 so far FOR SURE...The year is young tho and with the madness March has in store, it should be deadly, the way I like it :p

Cheers to everyone who came, saw and conquered that night with me, I'll for sure never forget it, total awesomeness :D

J'ai fait l'erreur de sortir et de trop fêter vendredi soir. J'avais VRAIMENT prévu aller a Holden.
