It probably will be exactly the same bar the extra you get from purchasing legally i.e. support from Cubase and updates to keep it and your system bug free.
If I remember correctly in the UK it's up to ten years in jail and unlimited fine so be advised.
DeZmA - bear in mind not all users know who H2o is or even what cracked software is. And if sold on ebay as "try before you buy" then I'm sure plently of ppl have got hooked that way.

I've also noticed with friends and everyone in my uni class - even lecturers; people who don't pirate are the minority in the 18-30 age bracket.
No-one really gives a , it's just part of everyday life. Piracy will always exist, all companies can try to do is slow it down.
Most people who use pirated goods wouldn't have bought it anyway so the company isn't really at a loss. If you use a free compressor or torrent a commercial one, makes no difference to the economy if you have no money to spend.
Piracy makes the world of computers and technology more attractive to average joe, so you could argue it's good for the industry in the long run. |

now THAT is the ING TRUTH my friends.
not to justify piracy though.. every creator deserves to be rewarded for his efforts
its just that a minority of people can actually afford to use legit-only software. you cant wish there were a few millions of users less on the planet right? it like going back to the stone age |

You have got to be kidding me...
Cubase SE costs like? What? 80 bucks?
People who can afford to buy a hardware synth or a neve compressor or some other peice of outboard can sure as god damn hell afford to buy a Cubase license.
Also the idea of a recording facility using cracked software is just LAFFO. Pulse in Dublin has licenses for every peice of software on their computers. I laugh my ass off at the thought of turning up to Pulse and starting up any one of their DAWs only to be greeted by H2O Try before you Buy.

What company? Is this just forum tardery or are you really suggesting that software piracy is actually good for small independant software developers in the long run? Are you smoking crack or something? |

| haha if you have to justify installing pirated anything by saying id never bought it anyways dont ya think thats a good cue for you to say well maybe i shouldnt be doing it. if you have to morally justify anything you probly shouldnt do it right? ohh btw ill say this many of many of large very large companies have team of devolpers who when they purchase a 500k liscense for the software will got rhoguh and remove certain elements to make it more stable on all systems or to make it so it doesnt look for a hardware lock.... keep in mind hardware locks have been around since the 80s and probly even before.trs-180 with dual tape players 0|/\||/|3|) |
