As an audio engineer, one of the first basic rules is what I like to call: The Crap Speaker Test. In the studio, we have our normal "booming" monitors then we also have a small mono speaker sitting right in front of the display. Best spent $20 speaker we've got. It gives a completely different perspective and a more realistic one as well. This way we can engineer a track to be effective in that frequency as well. |

not really about loud speakers, but listening to dusty kid's adventure from balance 8 on gryphon poseiden speakers was truly awesome. stereo speakers for about GBP75,000 a pair.
most EDM tracks show how hollow they are on really high end gear, but this track was great. |
