How is that being mean? You can't please everybody. You shouldn't feel obligated to be "nice" to someone, especially if you don't even like them. That's like, the epitome of fake. Do you want to be fake? I doubt it. her, you don't like her, you don't want to be friends with her...I'm sure she'll get over it. |
I totally would if it were so simple.
She hangs out with 85% of the same people I hang out with, and someone I am VERY close to is in love with the girl, which means I have to deal with her regardless... and may mean she will be coming to my home in the future. She knows what I think of her; I have made it abundantly clear... why she is trying to befriend me on there, I couldn't tell you. Seems really stupid to me to be honest, but that's irrelevant.
I just don't want to make things more awkward and problematic. |

Easy fix:
Friend me, I'll reject you, and then you'll know!
(or I'll just accept and you'll be my friend forever muahahahaha!)

Again, just be straight up. You don't want to accept the invite, so don't. If it bothers you that much, or you're that concerned about whatever relationship you're trying to maintain, just bring it up in person next time you see her.
"Hey, just wanted you to know that I have no problem having a civil relationship with you, but I feel that being Facebook "friends" is a but much. Kthnkxbye." |

| I have no problem rejecting people. If I don't like you or don't know you. REJECTED, simple as that. |

LMAO!!
I just imagined myself saying "kthxbye" in conversation, and it reminded me of last night when someone said something and I yelled "PLUS ONE!"
I need to stop reading TA. :( |
