Great to have you here, Vic!

Thanks for all the support on the boards, hope to see you all there; this is a huge lineup and an easy sell (for 10$ before midnight, definitely) hopefully! Some details on the night:

Every Friday, there is an afterwork funky/disco party until 10PM, so don't worry about the older 40/50 year olds that will be there as you enter, they usually leave no later than 10:30/10:45, I will be making sure this is no hindrance to our opening the doors the SECOND the minute hand hits 10PM, so you can hear the TAs Madiroze and Gerard Lavelle warm up (and Funabashi a half hour later).

This is one party that you definitely want to go to early, as the lineup is absolutely mint from start to finish, and also it is not like Pacha and Crobar, unfortunately, and has a relatively early closing time, so show up early!

As mentioned several times, this venue is regularly a hip hop and mashups spot on Friday nights, so this is something very very different for the venue to let us host over there. Expect the usual regulars and quite possibly just as long lines as Pacha, to be honest, so another reason to go early! There will be hip hop/rock/mashups up on the second floor "penthouse" and we will be opening the never-before-opened 3rd floor VIP lounge area as well, two areas that are usually off-limits or restricted. It'll all be open-roaming if you need a change from the main floor for a few minutes!

As stated earlier, there is no strict dress code for our events, however, being that it is a new venue we are working with for the VERY first time, be cautious and make somewhat of an effort to look good. Stuff like UFOs and Tim's, please try and stay away from, at least this time around.

The visuals will be put on in full effect once Talla goes for the decks (or if it's absolutely packed before he gets on, we'll do it earlier). They have been produced by Anne Marshall and are an absolute MASTERPIECE, perfect for enhancing the night, so show some appreciation for those (you won't miss them on the 10'x10' projection screen) as she will be in attendance tonight.

I was informed by the sound guy last week that the system was built by the same guys that did Cielo's system.... so all I have to say to that is... be safe, have fun tonight and see you all there!

oh stop, i was hoping for a spacious semi-packed chill spot with some lush interior designs, seating space without bottle service, and a generally friendly crowd...hope its not a sweat-fest in there

as i've heard formerly temple use to get pretty warm up in there...

Well we opened up the 3rd floor for a reason :) Won't be a sweatbox, main floor is very big, the bar extending off the main floor is really long as well, not to mention the mezzanine... Similar to Avalon pretty much, which is a good size for something like this.

Oh no, i just had a vision of the older folks getting shuffled out forcibly. Gertrude, it's getting close to curfew, time to go, now git!

This whole post is GREAT and funny, sounds like you're the chaperone and we're all going to the museum for the first time...

I am assuming that the correct pronouciation is collage like artwork, not like university?

lol I had it written down, and my friend is like...."how do you say it?" never thought it might sound like COLLEGE??? :conf: :haha: :haha: we are having a moment.
