talking in the third person

do any of you do this? i have encountered about two people in my entire life that talk in the third person. if some of you don't understand what i'm talking about, i mean:
person a: what are you gong to do today?
andrea: andrea is going to class.
when i see people talk in the third person on television, i just don't see the point and it looks crazy, haha. |
