| Danny Howells essential mix s all over both of those... |

Askew sucks so much balls, his tunes are impossible to use in a mix because of the speed they are writen at, but the energy they lack is immense, throw one of his tracks in and you've got yourself an action killer.
His DJing I cannot comment on, but his productions and for the most part his lable might as well be one tune.
Notable exceptions are things like:
Arc in the Sky - Vainqueur (Dub to the Climax Mix) |

I rarely ever listen to mixes anymore by any DJ since almost every song sounds like farts and swamp ass with a kick/off-beat snare in the background. |
Deserves a ing LOL! |

| Yeah sorry kids, but I personally don't think any EM in the near future will top Danny Howells |

eric prydz by a mile..
and trance is not dead, thats such a ridiculous statement. down in form does not mean dead. when no one is producing new trance and no one cares about it anymore then u tools can start saying that and not sound like dumb ****s.
ironically people were saying the same thing about house about 12 years ago, daft punk and alot of other french artists fixed that. all genre's go through slumps and when trance was brilliant for about 14 years its going to go through one eventually, it will get good again, all genre's do and there is no reason why trance cant |

The Eric Prydz mix was nothing to write home about. For 's sake the first hour was slow, boring, and commercial. The second hour was worse - pulling out old Rave anthems like "Higher State of Conciousness", and Robin in S. with "Show Me Love"!!! He also just had to throw in there Vangelis "Conquest of Paradise" didn't he? The only DJ who was able to pull that off was Oakie, and that was back in the 90s when the song actually had a life. . This isn't supposed to be an old school Essential Mix, now is it?
All the while let's not forget that this mix is coming from the same guy that looped a Stevie Winwood record for 6 minutes, and butchered a Pink Floyd classic recently.
I think there are DJs in Timbuktu that can play a better set then Eric Prydz, but I suppose the sheep/masses are digging his sound. |
Higher State of Conciousness > Your opinion
Throwing a classic in there is just sweet.
Spinning classics like that in the EM takes balls.
I'd say Prydz has stayed fairly fresh and call on me cant be compared to his productions as a whole. It was just something he did so he could break through. He's produced a gazillion tracks and four of them are commercial?
I bet your the kind of guy to bash every guy that plays a track you've heard before? Does it always have to be ZOMGIDIE ID UNRELEASED
Sweden > Timbuktu
Peace. |

| +1 to anyone above who stated that howells mix was the best of the lot. it was better by such a huge margin that i think it is actually insulting to mention prydz and askew's mixes in the same sentence. |
