alright, so now that I've got some time, here's a review.

My friend Haze and I got there around 11 to a pretty desolate crowd, which eventually filled. Apologies, but Im not familar with whoever opened directly before Blake, he threw down some interesting remixes of well known tunes. Good to hear some familiar stuff. I see too many opening DJ's play tunes I've never heard, and not much interested in.

So Blake comes on and proceeds to destroy all. Everytime I see him now, he gets better and better. Whatever tracks 2 and 3 were (Blake, a little help?) killed, absolutly bang'n!

Tune of the night for me was Sander Van Doorn - Grasshopper.

Nice to hear many other tunes:

Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars (Blake Jarrell and Topher Jones Remix)
Jose Amnesia feat Jennifer Rene - Wouldn't Change A Thing
Jose Amnesia feat Jennifer Rene - Louder (Blake Jarrell Remix)
Blake Jarrell vs Dane Cook - Dude I Just Wanna Dance
Pink Floyd - Comfortably Numb (Blake Jarrell vs Nosmo's Lasershow Bootleg Mix)

also, what remix of Gabriel and Dresden's - Let Go was that?

So end result, we were very hyped after the show. Dropped my friend off, slept for 4 hours, and went to pick up my little man from my aunts house.

Im trying to rehash my schedule to make Blake, G+D on the 28th.

I wasn't there, but I'm going to guess it was his own one that he's been working on in the past few weeks

DJ Journey was Blake's opener. I hope those who haven't heard of him or gotten a listen liked what they heard.

overall saturday was a really great night... unbelievably unpredictable but definitely an awesome time! i was a little wary when we got to The Rave just because it was a little empty and the sound was so loud i could barely hear myself think, but after Blake got on the decks and we got backstage away from the loud speakers, things got much better. i was happy to see such a great turn-out, and it was definitely one of the most fun "club" nights i've ever had in Milwaukee. good to meet a few new faces and party with all the old ones.

huge thanks to Thomas and the Dance&Dreams guys for putting on a great event and for taking care of us so well. drinks at The Rave are so overpriced so it was nice to be hooked up with a fresh beer every 20 minutes or so, lol... definitely very much appreciated!

thanks again to drEamer for the ride back to afters... after the with Rob's car, i just wanted to get the hell out of sketchville, and i had a feeling we may have been waiting a while for a cab. hope the rest of your night (and IHOP) was good!

thanks to Blake and Seneca for making the trek up to Milwaukee (and for playing Cosmonite <3). it's rare that we get the chance to hang out with you guys all night, and i hope you both enjoyed your time in Milwaukee. i know we certainly enjoyed having you up here, and i hope you both get the chance to come back again soon.

and finally.. thanks to Nate and Andy for the hospitality and for hosting afters! i know we rarely stay out until the sun rises, but everyone was having so much fun and it was such a chill crowd that i didn't want the night to end. i'm really glad we were there to party for your birthday, Nate, and i hope it was a memorable one!

only downside to the night was Rob's car getting broken into.. but he handled it like a champ and everything else about the night went off amazingly, which is absolutely great to see in Milwaukee.

good times, good times. :D
