oh, and if you want me to explain why... my top 5 tunes are made from these guys...for sheer quality and definately quanity, these three are my pick.
and it's not cuz dey popular, i couldn't care less, they rule my WinAmp, and that's what matters! |

Just a question...how the do you know who has been to clubs/live events? 75-90%??? what do you base this on? Im a big Tiesto fan and I listen to just about every sort of music you could find (electronic and not) - how do you know he's all these guys listen to? This is the most arrogant post I've seen around here yet....congratulations! |

i think the reason tiesto is so famous is he is known by everyone not only trance fans. however non trance fans dont have a clue who is dumonde or rank1.

I agree with what you're saying, but how can you be so sure that the person who posted this did not see Tiesto live?? |

I like Tiesto. No hate against him, But the bottom line is...
To be THE BEST, your PERFORMANCE'S must be the best.
Tiesto is not the best performing dj. I think live acts count in judging dj's more then any other aspect of a dj.
Its just like a singer or a band, how da u gonna be da best if you cant sing worth live???... and if you cant, your bound to get flamed on... I'm not saying Tiesto cant mix worth ... but there are others that have put together a much better mixing skit then tiesto has.
PvD live vs. Tiesto live, Tiesto doesn't come close. PVD's performance's are so much more genuine and solid. Anyone who's seen them both spin knows what im talking about. |

| I know what dumonde trancer is trying to say. There is a lot of people who like to state the obvious. We all know that tiesto and pvd are 2 of the top djs in the world, if not they top 2 djs. But we know that, the whole forum knows it. So why do we need to be told it by a milion threads day in, day out. |
