I'm using Live and I think it's a very good sequencer. It's very easy to learn, fast to use and doesn't have zillion useless features. The MIDI side of it isn't as advanced as in some other sequencers, but hey if it was, it'd be too good to be true.
I think it's a good program for a beginner to start learning production with. |

| yep ableton is pretty good to learn on - i reckon reason is good to learn as well - forces you to get a grip on the actual signal path... |
