| Ello Florida TA's. I’m thinking that I will probably be out of luck but does anyone know of a place to hear EDM in Key West. I will be there all next week and just want to see if that is even a possibility. Any recommendations or information would be great. Thanks in advance. |

Really? I'm in Panama City Beach with some buddies from Texas right now and we're thinking after visiting Miami and Orlando we might make the drive down Key West. Any reason why Key West sucks? |

Key West is about as far away from normal as you can be.. Its great for a laid back atmosphere with a Rumrunner and watching the Sunsets.. Duval St. is where everything is.. Look for bars like Lazy Lizard, Irish Kevin's, Fat Tuesday, Sloppy Joe's and more.. As far as the club scene goes.. Very few "dance" clubs in Key West.. You can find alot of places off the alleys of the main streets.. The main thing to do is relax and enjoy the atmosphere.. Just watch out for the clubs with no women... LOL :haha:
If you have a choice when to go.. Go during Fantasy Fest (Last weekend in October).. This is definitely the craziest short of Carnivale.. Its Mardi Gras with an Island atmosphere.. Always a great time..
I only lived in the Keys for most of my life.. You have to take them for what they're worth.. Hope this Helps... |

| thanks for the feedback and suggestions .. just got back yesterday and had a great time. we ended up just sticking to the bar scene while we were down there. once again thanks for the help and take care. |

| i hear key west is a long way from miami? i wouldn't know, i've nevr been to florida, but key west seems like a nice place. its small though, right? |

Its like 2 hours or so from Miami.. Its probably about 25,000 pop. but there is a lot of tourism.. Its a small island.. but not the smallest of all the Keys... |
