i have 2 midterms tomorrow, and i'm terrified of one of them.
we've read 3 books for this semester so far, and she wants to put passages on the exam and have us tell her who wrote it, what it's about, what book it's from, who's talking, what's happening...etc
she also wants us to figure out characters based on quotes from the book.
and she's not giving us key areas she might pull from.
so i basically need to re-read three 200+ page books? by tomorrow? and i have to work tonight?
yeah. stressed. BUT my last day at maidenform is Saturday, and then Spring Break is next week! I'm so excited because one of my best friends is coming down to visit me from NYU. after tomorrow, i'll be fine, but i'm VERY nervous about those midterms.
anyone have any cool plans for SB or horror stories about exams? |

I have one midterm next thursday but that's it. Otherwise I have exams split up into trimesters, if you will.
My spring break plans aren't anything special. I can't afford to go anywhere crazy or fun. I'll probably just kick it with friends and hang out with a few people I haven't seen for awhile. |

My freshman year I was up drinking heavily until 4am the night before my 7:45 Econ 101 final. Somehow I managed to wake up and get to the exam, after which I convinced myself it was in my best interest to just go with my first instinct on each question and not second-guess myself, because the sooner I got out of there the sooner I could pass out and the less of a distraction I would be to those around me. I ended up finishing in 15 minutes and got a 98.
The moral of this story is to get drunk before your exam and you will be fine. |

Spring Break, My first year of college.
We had our final exam the day before SB and everything had gone fine. My flight to Hawaii was planned for the Monday of spring break. That Sunday my teacher called me and said that something had happened to my exam and I had to come back to school DURING the break and do re-do it. I thought that I'd still be able to go on my trip but have to cut it short, but no he wanted me to come in on the Thursday and do it. Balls.
Good luck on your midterms Amelia. |

ROFLMAO.....to be honest i say NEVER study the night before. mostly because your more than likely cramming anyways and cramming is bad. the night before should just be relaxing and letting it all sink in imho. |

| I went to the Mayan and saw John Digweed and got really high the night before a final. Best way to relax, imo. I think I was actually slightly rolling in class. |

I had two due late last week, and two more for next week, then it's Lee Burridge at Spybar to kick off my Spring Break - the rest of the week will be used for recovery.

PS: Amelia, I'm sure you'll be fine. You're an intelligent young lady, you've got this on proverbial "lockdown."
